“Important Update: Form 24G has been renamed as Form No. 137 under the Income Tax Act, 2025; however, Form 24G will continue to be applicable for statements pertaining to Financial Years up to 2025–26, while Form No. 137 shall be applicable for statements pertaining to Financial year 2026–27 onwards.”

The Pay and Accounts Office (PAO)/ District Treasury Office (DTO)/ Cheque Drawing and Disbursing Office (CDDO) are required to file Form No. 137 as per Income-tax Department Notification no. 41/2010 dated May 31, 2010.
