“Important Update: Form 24G has been revised as Form No. 137 under the Income Tax Act, 2025; however, Form 24G will continue to be applicable for statements pertaining to Financial years up to 2025–26, while Form No. 137 shall be applicable for statements pertaining to Financial year 2026–27 onwards. Latest FVU Version 1.9 for Form 24G / Form 137 has been released. Applicants are required to validate their files using FVU version 1.9 only. Files validated with earlier version (FVU 1.8) will be rejected.”

The Pay and Accounts Office (PAO)/ District Treasury Office (DTO)/ Cheque Drawing and Disbursing Office (CDDO) are required to file Form No. 137 as per Income-tax Department Notification no. 41/2010 dated May 31, 2010.
