“Important Update: Form 24G has been renamed as Form No. 137 under the Income Tax Act, 2025; however, Form 24G will continue to be applicable for statements pertaining to Financial Years up to 2025–26, while Form No. 137 shall be applicable for statements pertaining to Financial year 2026–27 onwards.”

Protean Form No. 137 Preparation Utility

The Form No. 137 FVU setup comprises of two files namely

  • Form No. 137 FVU.bat: This is a setup program for installation of FVU.
  • Form No. 137_FVU_STANDALONE.jar: This is the FVU program file.

These files are in an executable zip file (Form-No.173-FVU.exe). These files are required for installing the Form No. 137 FVU.
